N Scale Kato FEF-3 4-8-4 # 838 This is a very smooth running locomotive. It features a coreless motor. And details throughout, just look at the pictures! I have all the instructions and the orinal box.

History:

This is one of the best runing engines I own. I love to repair and fine tune my engines, the best lubrication I have found is Labelle. I recommend them they are great pruducts.  If you want to see one of my videos: https://youtu.be/GL865pJsXrY  N scale is very small, but also very rewarding, I`m always amazed at the intricate details throughout. for example, look at the front of the engine.

Operating:

The N scale Kato FEF-3 4-8-4 #838 uses a minimum of 11¨ raduis curves wich I wish they woul tell you on the box.  I built my layout with wide curves on purpose so I could run this engine. My experience:

I started just like everyone with just a few items, and my collection grew. one of my first good running engine was a Kato GP38-2. the engine ran impressively smooth I was amazed. I spent  hours just running it, and appreciating the quality. my next really good engine was a steamer. It was a Con Cor Hudson. I remember having to save up for 6 months to be able to afford this locomotive. When the day came to finally  get it, i felt a feeling of accomplishment.  I took a lot of time to custom paint it for Canadian Pacific. I also had matching heavy weight Rivarossi passenger cars. What a thrill it was running that train! This is the same joy, and feeling of accomplishement I want you to find as you run this beautifull N scale  Kato FEF-3 #838.
